Abdul Rehman Qureshi & Co. is a corporate and regulatory law firm founded by Mr. Abdul Rehman Qureshi, a distinguished legal professional with over four decades of experience in Pakistan’s corporate and financial regulatory landscape. Mr. Qureshi has served in senior leadership positions, including Chairman, Commissioner, Advisor, and Chief Legal Affairs at the erstwhile Corporate Law Authority (CLA) and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) — the apex regulator of the capital market, non-banking finance companies, insurance industry, and the corporate sector. Throughout his distinguished career, he has played an instrumental role in modernizing Pakistan’s corporate and securities laws, having chaired and participated in multiple national committees and commissions responsible for overhauling major pieces of legislation, including the Companies Act, 2017, Securities Law, Insurance Law, and Banking Laws. Mr. Qureshi also headed the SECP Committee that prepared the final draft of the Companies Act, now a cornerstone of Pakistan’s corporate legal framework. Beyond his regulatory contributions, he has been a Member of the Audit Oversight Board of Pakistan for three years and continues to serve as an Independent Director on the boards of six listed companies. An accomplished academic and author, Mr. Qureshi has been a faculty member at the International Islamic University, Islamabad, where he taught Company Law and Comparative Securities Laws, and a Member of the Board of Governors of the Institute of Management Sciences, Peshawar. He has represented Pakistan in numerous international courses, seminars, and workshops on corporate law and governance in countries including Australia, Japan, India, the USA, and the UK. He is also the author of the renowned book “Qureshi & Jasra on Company Law”, which remains an important resource for professionals in Pakistan’s legal and corporate sectors. Following his retirement from public service in 2016, Mr. Qureshi established Abdul Rehman Qureshi & Co., a specialized firm providing comprehensive legal advisory, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance services to companies, financial institutions, and emerging businesses across Pakistan. Mr. Faiz ur Rehman Qureshi

Mr. Faiz ur Rehman Qureshi is a seasoned legal professional with a unique blend of qualifications in law, information technology, and insurance. He holds an LLB, LLM, and an MBA in Information Technology Management, complemented by professional certification from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), London. His interdisciplinary background enables him to integrate legal insight with technological and regulatory innovation, a combination that defines his modern approach to legal practice.
With over 15 years of professional experience, including 13 years within key regulatory institutions, Mr. Rehman has developed deep expertise in corporate, commercial, and regulatory law. His work has involved advising on compliance frameworks, governance structures, and enforcement matters under Pakistan’s corporate and financial laws.
In addition to his regulatory experience, Mr. Rehman actively practices civil and family law, providing representation and advisory services in property disputes, contractual obligations, inheritance and succession matters, guardianship, and family settlements. His approach emphasizes client understanding, procedural efficiency, and equitable resolution combining technical competence with empathy and professionalism.
Mr. Rehman’s contribution to legal scholarship is reflected in his involvement with the landmark publication, “Qureshi and Jasra on Company Law,” where he assisted in legal research, and comparative analysis to strengthen corporate law understanding.
